GE Garages

GE Garages was created to show the world that GE did much more than make light bulbs. GE brought together brands like Techshop and LittleBits to create a place where guests could build things with experts or get help with an idea that they had come up with.. What started as a single activation in SXSW soon turned into a Global tour featuring Nigeria, Algeria, Abu Dhabi and more. Currently the Garages in Nigeria, Algeria, Abu Dhabi, and Turkey are all still currently operating.

Project Touchpoints include:

  • Created and managed Budget for project

  • Oversaw venue research

  • Oversaw RFP process

  • Sourcing of vendors, staffing, etc.

  • Oversaw build, onsite management, staff and equipment of space

  • Managed union crews and vendors for build of space

  • Responsible for International shipping to all locations

  • Managed International RFP process
